Around the harbor

What we'd point you at

Channel Islands Harbor is a quiet stretch of water with more going on than it lets on. A few things within walking distance of the front door.

Walk

The promenade

Out the door and along the water. The marina path is the reason people move here and the reason they stay out until the light goes.

Coffee

Portola waterfront café

Close enough to walk to. Coffee with the boats in front of you, which beats coffee at a desk.

Beach

Silver Strand

Minutes down the road. Wide, quiet sand — the one to take visitors to when they ask what there is to do.

Errands

Over the bridge

Vons and the everyday things are just across the water, so a longer stay here works like living rather than camping.

More of it, as we go, on @seabridgesights.
